A CONFINED WATER SESSION MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE ANY OPEN WATER DIVE
Prerequisites
- 18 years of age with a Nitrox Diver certification.
- Deep Air Certification from a recognized training agency or proof of experience to the same level (there are additional written requirements).
Course Description
This course is outlined as a two day program with approx. 8 hours of classroom and dive planning. Before the end of this course a final exam will be given. Four dives to a maximum depth of 130 feet/40 meters will be conducted. The breathing gasses can be Nitrox or Air using one Nitrox decompression mix up to 50% carried in a stage bottle while practicing various decompression techniques. Introduction and use of computer generated decompression profiles for dive planing.
